Doctors need to inform their patient of

all the phone numbers that might contact the patient prior to that appointment
the phone number the patient needs to call to reschedule the appointment, if necessary
the phone numbers that would call the patient if the patient failed to be at the appointment

It is indeed a poorly designed, slow speaking robo caller for doc appts.
I just hung up  and added it to my blocked callers- far too slow for me to waste my time listening to the whole spiel.
I only give 15 sec max to robos which is all it takes to blurt out an appt reminder- an organization that does not value my time as much as theirs isn't worth more than that. Designing robos that work at normal human speech speed or faster would be an improvement- I can type faster than theirs can talk.

Its a 'messaging call' reminding you of an upcoming appointment. My mammogram is Monday morning so they were reminding me.
