Mid-afternoon call. Likely some kind of annoying political call. MOST likely wanting $$$$$$, or some push poll. When the phone was answered, there was a pause, then boiler room sounds, followed by a female voice, "May I speak to... um... [name]?" I replied that [name] was not here, at the moment, and asked to take a message. "May I speak to... um... the spouse?" Since the spouse is 15 years deceased, I replied that the spouse was also not available, and asked, again, to take a message. There was another pause, then the caller rang off. 99% chance it was Repugnicans. 100% chance it was conservaTURD related.
