I received a call from 678-619-5974. This is the 5th time since the end of May. I already filed a complaint with the FTC and those clowns said that it's a scammer and I should take the following actions. So today I'm sitting and receive the same call with a ROBO call starting "they have been trying to reach me. It is imperative they speak with me. Push 1 or call this number 405-896-7992 back. So I call the 405 number. Some guy name GREG amswers the phone. He didn't even say HELLO. He says you receive a call? I said yep. He said ok let me punch ur number in. Then magicly he tells me that it's the wrong number caus b doesn't find anything in the computer under my number. So I tell him I am documenting every time this number calls me and harasses me. He says well your retarded cause you can't do anything for a wrong number. You know what time of day it is. You have chose to f with the wrong person.
Obviously, a robo caller, because the caller's recording starts talking during my answering machine's recorded announcement. The rest of the message that recorded on my machine was: "Please press 1 to be transferred to a representative. If you are not available at the moment, please return this call immediately. The number is (855) 323-8822. Again, this is a very important matter. We must speak with you immediately." Well, scammers, it might be important to you, but it isn't to me. I do not have any outstanding debt.
On another website, someone reported this call as being from Asset Management Service Group or AMSG, who claimed they took out loans that they did not take out, and said the caller would not give them the physical address of the company. This is the third call I've gotten today from different numbers that don't leave a message. First call was a robo caller that left no message. A few minutes later, a different number called and a real person was on the line, but left no message. Less than 2 hours later, I got this call from (678) 619-5974 with caller ID Jonesboro, GA, which left a message to call (855) 323-8822. I often get these types of calls in groups of three within a two-hour period. I'm sure it is the same scammer using spoofed numbers and robo-dialers.
Some of these callers threaten to serve papers on me at my workplace or home. That's no threat, because if they ever did, I would have their names and location and would sue them for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, among other charges. But no one ever shows up serving papers.
Disgusting. Lady wanted to know if I was me. Said she had access to my bank accounts and was taking me to court. Also threatened to expose my full social security number. Definitely violated some federal practices on that phone call. Don't answer these.
Don't sweat these clowns. They've been calling me on a debt that has been expired in my state SOL for 8 years. They've said servers were coming to serve me at work or home within 24 hours for 2 years now. They never come, and they want to scare you. When I asked for their address to send them a cease and desist letter, they hung up. Don't sweat these clowns.
