I was called from this #, but it said Microsoft so I answered it. I was told that there was over 17,000 bad problems on my computer and the first one was a hacker trying to steal my pin's, bank account Numbers & SSN numbers. Thinking that he was with Microsoft I let him take control of my Laptop. After a few minutes he showed me the error messages. I now believe that he put them on there. He then told me for $299.99 that he would fix all of the problems on the Laptop and my desk top. I gave him my credit card # and he started doing things to my Laptop. I had to leave and when I got back he was still working on the laptop. He said that he was then ready to work on my desktop. I told him no, you fix the Laptop first. All along we had many arguments about what he was doing. He finally said that he was through with the Laptop and would call back early the next week to fix the desktop. He never got back with me and My laptop was hardly usable. I got a local Computer Technician and it took him 1 1/2 hours to straighten out the Laptop, for $50.00.
