GG, you rock! Thanks to all of you for posting! They called me a while back with their BS. I worked for 10 years as Tech support for a large company, who's initials are Dell. They tried that stuff on me and I asked them to give me remote access to their system because it was probably the one generating the DOS attacks, and I would be happy to fix it for them. He said something vulgar in English, and then also in another language that I can only define as BS. Once again thanks to all of you for posting!
I just got a call from this # once again its a foreign accent male caller,from "Microsoft" saying that there "something wrong with my computer"SCAM!!!!!
I also just got a call from this number 678-777-1177 and when I told him that it was being recorded they started calling me names and said there was nothing we could do about it anyway..
I just received a call from this number - foreign accent, said he was from Microsoft and there were viruses on my computer, to go on and he would help me get rid of them. I told him I thought this was a scam and he said it wasn't, that I was a registered Microsoft user and they had all of my information. I told him I would have my IT guy remove any viruses and he hung up.
