Received a call from 839-6111 a few days ago and did not answer because there was not an area code. Just received another call today, (678) 839-6111, and still did not answer. Not sure why I keep getting calls. I haven't signed up for anything and I haven't done any surveys.
I answered. The man, speaking with an accent, said I was selected for a grant from the government because of health and illness for $9,000.00. He said I do not need to pay it back. He gave me a number to call, an ID number for me and a name of a person that would handle my grant. He then said I could be paid in three ways, direct deposit, cash or put on a card.
I will call to see what happens. Obviously it can't be legit.
