Just called at 244PM Sunday. Caller ID said Out of area. A pleasant sounding recording of a young woman left a 50 second message on my answering machine. She was imploring me to vote for Ted Cruz and stop Donald Trump. She said this is a call from the political PAC Tea Party Patriots and is not affiliated with any candidate.
By the way, she did say the call was coming from 678-871-0877, so it is not a spoofed number. It must be a legitimate political call. I just wonder why a number in Georgia is used to call voters in Texas?
I didn't accept the call, but from what is posted, the calls don't appear legitimate and do not represent the real Tea Party which stands for concerns about the way our country has degenerated and moved away from our Constitution. You can't blame a whole organization for the nut case found in all walks of life, including the Democrats and Republicans.
