Just had the same scam. Called himself Fredrick kohler. Said he was air force. Wanted to buy an item and have it shipped. Wanted to use PayPal, too. No active PayPal account and no money was set to transfer. Stay off craigslist. Used new numbers. Txt with:3059018372. Called me on:6627860791
Beware of this potential scam artist. Received a call from "Ruth" at 205-518-9030 claiming to be inquiring for her boss, jonathan, about an item I had on craigslist. She asked me to text him at this nimber, and when I did, he responded with vague questions about the "item" and said that he's buying it for his father, can't view it, and wants to have movers pick it up. He asked for my paypal account.
