SCAMMER CLAIMED TO BE A WOAMN WHO NEEDED DAYCARE FOR A LITTLE GIRL AS SHE AND HER DAUGHTER WERE RELOCATING FROM TORONTO CANADA. SENT A CHECK FOR $2250.00 TO VICTIM AND AN EMAIL, DIRECTING VICTIM TO DEPOSIT CHECK AND IMMEDIATELY WITHDRAW $960.00 AND WIRE IT TO MAN IN ATLANTA GEORGIA. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIG SUPRISE, THE CHECK IS BOGUS!!!!!!!!! iF VICTIM WOULD HAVE DONE AS REQUESTED, SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT AT LEAST $960.00.
I got a response from a person using this number from craigs list. He was responding to my house keeper add. he siad he would pay the same 30 per hour for three hours a day. said was moving to my area from canada. At the time it sounded great and I wanted to be as transparent as possible so I gave him my name and age and said to do a background check on me if he wanted. I couldn't sleep tonight so I did a reverse on the number he left and found all this. I feel so stupid and pray he doesn't do anything bad with my info. I called the number a few mn ago, he picked up but didn't say hello I could her him talking but not to me, wither to himself or someone else. I picked up on his accent, maybe african or jamacin. I hope someone stops these jerks from doing anymore harm to the unsuspecting. I'll be cancelling all my accounts first thing in the morning just in case.
I received a email the other day about needing house cleaning services in Albany New York. He said his name is John Webb and him and his wife was going to move to my area from Canada. offered to give me $30 and hour for 3 hours so i decided to check where the number was from and to come to find out it's a number in west virgina. I gave the guy my name and address and he said that he wil send a check to me and to take the money for my services out first then take the reminder out for the agent responible for the furniture. i spoke to the guy. But i think he is full of [***].
I'm checking him out. Did you meet him before hand at his new residene to dicuss your terms for your services if you did and it worked out let me know. I told him I want to meet him and his dog at his new residence.
