ALEXANDER & STEFANO
COLLECTION AGENCY
CALLER ID: FORT WORTH, TEXAS (682) 200-2349
That's odd. Their offices are only listed in New York state. Sounds like call id fraud.
This is a collection agency. They have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. Which means they've probably been sued by hundreds of consumers and innocent people for fraudulent collection practices. The best way to make collection agencies to stop calling your phone number or any phone number where those people leave you a message (including neighbors, employment) is to say the following, "Cease all verbal communication". Write down the collector's name, date, time. You may also send a mail certified letter telling them to cease all phone call collections. You may want to receive letters from them to keep on file. But if you do not owe anything, tell them to cease all written communication as well. Keep a copy of the certified letter for your records. You can sue them and probably settle for a minimum $1,500 or much more depending on how they are unlawfully harassing you. Google "FDCPA" Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. It will explain your legal rights as a debtor.
Called my fax line and my cell simultaneously.
Both have different area codes. Went to voicemail on the cell,
Heard a lady's voice and a hang up. Caller ID only said "Ft. Worth".
Caller left robo message on my answering machine. The message stated they were looking for someone named Brenda Bolla and said they were from Alexander & Stefano. I have no idea who this person they are calling about is. The call came from Ft. Worth, TX. The callback number they left was (716-735-1112) is in New York. My guess is it is a scam.
I am being harrassed by phone calls. I am not the debter and I want these poeple to stop calling me and never call me again. However they don't seem to understand. They say they haven't called me before before but they have from different numbers. I want my number removed and never called again. To top it off they
are juvenile, like I can be and one guy was laughing about the name of the person they are looking for.
