This happened to me today, it scares me because they had my entire social except the last 4. Of course I didn't give it to them. I am in the process of cleaning up my credit to build a home and this shook me to the core. I am happy to see its a scam. Thanks.
The caller today was female, also, but this call was for student loan debt relief. Listened to the whole recording, hoping to hear a prompt for a live person, but only got a prompt to be removed from their call list. Hit the 1, and a male voice recording stated that my number would be removed immediately. Hhmm, I would how long is immediately? Reporting to the worthless FTC Don Not Call complaint site anyway.
