This is a "Debt Collector" - live person even - trying to get a hold of a person who doesn't live at your number.  Yes they know that, but their trick is "asking you your name" and when you give it to them ... you're nailed because they'll say you were the next person on their list to call.  Then they'll go about talking to you over a debt that you may or may not owe, but they will say they are ready to take full legal action against you, put you in jail, etc ... just to scare you into paying them some money.  I believe it's a scam because in listening to their "voice mail" they are reading off a cue card telling you what I just mentioned and also give you a case number.  But wait there's more!  They will be so nice in giving you a 800 number to call and to make sure you give them their case number.  Funny thing is, I have several lines and when they call they leave messages to different people but with the same case number ... Talk about a scam ...  Oh, it's a "Legal Firm out of SC, and if you search their name this firms states it's not them.
