Finally answered today after ignoring several times. Man said his name is Jonathon Tyler with Home Securities Systems out of New York. (Caller ID showed Minto, ND.). He wanted to "qualify" me for a free home sec sys and have techs change out all of my outdated phone lines for free. I asked him to give me HIS information again including street address and home number. He said he couldn't give out personal info. I said "So you Do get it....I don't give out info on the phone either. Take me off your calling list". And I hung up.
Good for you! They never stop calling no matter what you tell them, so I got a call blocker and that's the end of it. My phone never rings unless it's from someone I've "invited" to call me.
Might be legit sales caller, but why would they send a phony caller id if they are really legit? And aren't they bright enough to spell Minot, ND? They show it as Minto ND. They also might not be very bright. Be very suspicious of this one.
