This is getting ridiculous! For weeks I have been receiving these calls at hours of the day when any working person would be in bed. Always foreign accents. Always argue with me about "my windows computer"...I don't own one....groan. now they call and there is silence for a few minutes. Then says "goodbye". I have to get up at 3am to work on an ambulance...I truly don't appreciate the 11pm scammers. What can be done about it?
Man with an East Indian type accent called, telling me that my computer was infected with a virus and telling Microsoft about it. I asked what company he represented, and he said Ozemio Inc. I asked more questions and he gave me an 800# to call to verify his identity, 800-102-1100. When I asked more questions, he hung up. Scammer.
