Just got a call from this number saying I owed money. Disconnected them in the middle of leaving a message. I keep blocking scam phone numbers. But, it seems to be a constant battle. Be careful out there.
My girlfriend received a call from a blocked number that left a voicemail saying she owes the Irs money and was facing jail time if she didn't call back the number stated in the message. I called it and gave them a fake name to which they said "Eric Walsh" owes the irs $6,400.. Total Bs... It was an Indian woman who was clearly reading a script

Scum of the earth scammer. Left message about federal magistrate, grand jury, blah blah blah. Thick indian accent supposedly named "Kevin Mason". Yeah. Didn't name anyone in household specifically - just vague threats A dead giveaway. I hate that these creeps might scare seniors or less savvy folks into responding and getting robbed.
