Then they have confirmed your number is legitimate and they ADD you to every list and sell your number.  Just block the caller on your phone.

Just received a call from this number...I did NOT answer as I don't answer numbers I don't know & they didn't leave a message either!

BS call, they just call and hang up when it goes to VM.  I have been getting calls every day from the same organization.

Foreign accent. The caller wanted to know my voting preferences Democrat or Republican. It was a boiler room. I ask if it was a government agency and she said no and it was a short survey.  Wish I had not answered

Called asking for my brother by name and in a middle east accent. We tossed the phone from one family member to another, answering in different accents and voices, never letting it get to my brother. It was fun. :)
