Called at 4:30 am last night about Student Loan forgiveness program in my area. I hit #2 to speak to a specialist and ask that I be removed. Within a few seconds of someone answering me, I was hung up on. Blocked the number. But I still get 4 voicemails per day.
A robocall from Student Loan Forgiveness - A search shows this number to be from Henderson, NV. A land line using LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC - NV. They keep calling using a different new number after being told to remove my number from their call list and blocked.
Called at 4AM!!!!!!!! and woke everyone up in my home. Student loan forgiveness was the message. They called earlier in the day and I pressed 1 to be connected. Once a live person came on the phone and I asked please remove...I was immediately hung up on. Maybe this why there called at 4am? I know they need to be reported completely ridiculous at that time at night...
Yes there are laws, but you are dealing with crooks who don't obey laws. Federally they are allowed to call between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm your time. Some states vary from that.
