I have a panasonic, you have to look thru manual, but the commands for mine are menu #217, can block up to 30 numbers and menu #240 blocks all calls that do not display a phone number.
Sigh, I just got my first call from these idiots today, sure will be a pain if they keep calling. Like J.Tillman, I have an elderly Dad who is not well and needs his rest, not annoying phone calls. Maybe we should answer their calls with loud foghorns!!!
My best investment was a phone which allows me to block calls!! It was worth the expense just to program the phone to block (1) out of area (2) no called ID or (3) phone numbers that are telemarketers who can then be manually blocked for future calls. Whenever any of these calls come in, I get a single ring to let me know it was a blocked call. I agree that DoNotCall is worthless.
Just received a call from this number. I always report calls to the Do Not Call for all the good it does. I also have started contacting companies directly (through mail or e-mail) and request for my number to be removed. I cannot figure out why the government can "spy" on all our calls but cannot stop numbers reported to Do Not Call. Seems to me with all the technology available this could be done. So, so annoying and it is getting only worse each day.
