I got the same thing just now.. Knowing that people can sometimes fake the number they are calling from, I instead called the toll free number. It was legitimate. Someone had used my card to spend $250 at Sams Club, and had just tried use it again
Called in the evening and in the morning, left no message. I called the number back and it's the automated teller # for Navy Federal Credit Union. I have no idea how an "automated teller" can call me. I DO have an account with NFCU.
Have the same number on my caller ID, Sunday evening 7pm, my son has his military account there, this is his listed residence. ???? Guess I'll call Monday a.m
I got a call from this number too. It's NFCU. (I have an acct with them.) In my case, it was asking (in automated fashion) for me to verify 3 "suspicious" transactions on my visa card. (My brazilian wife bought clothes in brazil, which was valid, but out of pattern for us, and tripped some anti-fraud detection algorithm.)
