Guy showed up saying he had a 2 pm appt with the Mr. X (owner). I know for a fact that he doesn't b/c I take all the owners msgs/appts. Only mentioned his name and not the company he's with until I asked. Asked to use OUR phone... What sort of shady business is this SMS company???? When I asked what his company does, the guy couldn't even give me a straight answer.
They wanted to set up an appointment of some matter, These people call 4-5 times a week and are very rude. Have told them repeatedly to remove my number but they actually then call more.
Called asking for owner of my company.
I think he said he's from a company called Brent Ingram.
(Googling that name didn't come up with anything relevant.)
He said he'd try to contact our owner "another way".
Has once again called for my boss, he himself has told these people he is not interested and to remove the number several times, than I have told them he has spoken to them and to remove us. Not to mention this time the gentleman on the other end was eating food rather loudly as he was asking for the owner.
Caller ID says "SMS" and they are trying to sell subscriptions to a magazine I believe.
Calls at the same time everyday, usually around 5:30pm. We no longer pickup their calls. Asks for the "owner" everytime or his wife? or Co-Owner. Very annoying.
Calls every morning between 8 and 8:30 am asking for the owner. I have just loaded the number under my blocked list so the problem will work itself out now.
