I get called daily, sometimes twice a day. Caller ID says League of Women voters. They never leave a message. I don't answer, as I assume they want money. Also a little suspicious that it could be a scam as the phone number for League of Women Voters HQ is in DC and has a 202 Area code. On the League website you can search for locations of state offices and for Virginia–of which 703 is an area code–there are two offices, one in Arlington and another in Fairfax, but neither of them have the number that keeps calling me. I don't live in Virginia, so don't know why I keep getting these calls. If they are looking for donations, I've never given them money. I would expect fundraising to be done through their headquarters in DC, or by my own local office–IF this is truly a fundraising call. Otherwise, why would they be so insistent in calling me every day! I have been getting these calls for about three months or more.
We've stopped answering calls and let the answering machine pick up all calls precisely because of calls like this. We've received several calls from this number and never a message.

These trolls call repeatedly. No one on line when answered except faint female voice and background noise. Ridiculous predatory activity. Abuse of the telephone lines and deserves having fines levied against these criminals.
