It is the fraternal order of police looking for contributions. Blocking did no good. When I blocked the number they called it every minute. After 16 times I finally answered and told them to stop calling me.
Getting calls everyday from this number, does not leave a message which is not a problem for me as I don't answer it anyways. Good knowing where it is coming from though. It is my understanding that a good portion of any donations made through these soliciting calls from the FOP actually go as commission to the caller. I always ask them to send me something in the mail so that I can verify and the usual response is that they do not have the funds to do that. Would rather just hassle over the phone
They say they are FOP, based on my research they are NOT FOP. They seem to run scam calls here and there looking for you to donate for some kind of cause- In august it apparently was some kind of electric cooperative scam, now FOP. They call constantly and you can't call the number back.
Wish these alleged FOP fundraisers would leave elderly folk that live on pensions & SS alone. Besides they're not my favorite people right now. #HANDS UP DON'T SHOOT!
