was called they would not respond then hung up. I called back a woman with a severe accent said sex crimes division, your call is being recorded for a federal investigation I told her to stop calling my number and she started yell at me, that she has a right to call then hung up, i called back and this time a man answered and said again was a sex crimes division i told him he was being recorded and he hung up.
Definitely a scam. Called the number back with the *67 - the call is rejected. Called back again with out *67 and some joker answered with some "investigating officer, number blah, blah....". Sounds foreign, just like an original recording.
I announced this conversation is being recorded and asked for his company name, employee number, he would not answer. Very rude. Finally said, they probably called me by mistake.
Received message stating US Treasury needed to speak to me. Received a call 2 hrs later stating Treasury Dept. Heavy accent. I told him Treasury Dept doesn't make these calls. He mumbled & hung up.
