I called back a woman with a severe accent said sex crimes division, your call is being recorded for a federal investigation I told her to stop calling my number and she started yell at me, that she has a right to call then hung up, i called back and this time a man answered and said again was a sex crimes division i told him he was being recorded and he hung up.
This is definitely a scam. The caller id shows "Washington VA". We didn't answer it the first time. We figured if it were important, they would call again. They surely did. We picked it up when they called the second time. Like the other callers said, the caller had this heavy accent and claimed from IRS. When we asked him for the IRS employee id, he hung up.

told the guy with foreign accent that he was a con artist-he said that I was going to be arrested. I definitely knew that he was a crook after that!
Received vcml to call re: tax filling errors on returns 2009 - 2013 owing $1972.61 and $100 - $200 in service fees. Threatened seizure of all property, freezing all assets and incarceration. Go to Money Gram store send to 'John Dave PA USA'. Above all you must stay on phone during entire transaction & don't talk to anyone about this case as everyone is suspect and not to be trusted per Officer Amy Brown badge #6598!
Just received a call from an Officer Michael Black (badge # 77962) alleging to be with the IRS and that they needed to speak with me concerning past filing issues (relating to tax returns I guess). I said I wasn't in and would tale a message and give to myself the next time I saw myself. When I asked what this was regarding so I could tell myself when I saw myself, that's when he told me who he was and gave me a badge #. Just wanted to have a little fun with him. Definitely won't call back. The IRS does not contact taxpayers in this manner.
