Received the lengthy irs scam message; it's a shame many people take them seriously; its so annoying; have to remember you or your attorney can call back; european accent; they tried 2 x in one day;
Yea I got a call this morning, telling me they where from the IRS. We just hung up on them. We got them around the same time last year. It's a shame that the government in this day and
age can't track down these scammers and put a stop to them.
So far, I have received 8 calls from these predators.Same threats, using key words: time-sensitive...sheriff at my door...attorney...court. Luckily, this site exists, which I visit weekly to verify the new numbers to ignore on my phone. I am now retired, and almost as soon as my Social Security kicked in, I began receiving these calls. I just don't answer the phone.
