2015-Apr-08 call was a human reading from a script claiming to be with Google Plus and that it was extremely urgent that they talk to the business manager about {at which point they hung up because I was laughing out loud at the idea that Google Plus would call me}
2015 Apr 08 call was a robot claiming to be Google Plus and "extremely urgent" that the business manager talk to them about the local business information. I hung up before they transferred me to a person. I have no idea if it is legit but assume that it is not since Google has my email if they really wanted to speak with me.
Watch out, this caller is NOT from Google Plus. As soon as a live person got on, he wanted to know my name and the name of my business and what services we offer. I simply asked, "Who are you and where are you calling from?," and he hung up. Don't fall for these tricksters people!
Like the other commenters above, I got an "urgent" automated call from "Google Plus." Normally, I don't stay on the line for this sort of thing, but I was awaiting something from Google Plus. However, as soon as the salesman came on the line it was obvious he was not from Google, could not answer my question, and wanted to sell me advertising.
