It surprises me that these morons are still using the same number when they could easily change it along with the Caller ID. Whether they claim to be Google+, the Tea Party, Customer Service, or Publisher's Clearinghouse, the only thing they're interested in is getting your credit card information.
Caller id: Out of Area
Some scam artist is spoofing numbers to get us to answer our phones. If you do not recognize the number, don't answer. Get a call blocker because the phone companies do not care about your privacy. The technology is there for telecommunications companies to resolve this & they refuse to do so which makes very unhappy customers.
Time for FCC & FTC to step up and resolve these issues.
*WARNING - SCAM ALERT* - It's just another scammer. These same scammers call every day using different numbers, but the common factor in all the calls are that my caller ID shows as "Tea Party". They call at all hours of the day and night; even weekends and Sundays. I block each number every time they call. They've been so annoying that I started annoying them back. Now every time they call, I pick up my bullhorn, set it to siren, turn it up to10, click on the phone receiver, and let them have it in the ear. Oh what fun! LOL! After that, then I block them. If they keep up, I can go on for years annoying them back. You would think that they would finally get tired of getting a piercing ear full. Ha ha.
