received this call last week and again this morning. I NEVER answer calls from numbers or people whom I do not recognize. same goes for 'unavailable,' 'private caller' and like numbers. most annoying are the doctors' offices calling to confirm appointments who use 'private caller.' who the hell do they think they are? god forbid you fail to fill out their endless forms so they can keep all of your personal info locked up in their computer data bases. If it's important I can be found other ways. I am on the 'do not call' registry. that is a joke. I also have blocked certain private (personal) numbers of people I do not wish to talk to - ever. blocking does not work with robo calls because they seem to have a whole bank of phones at their disposal. so much for modern technology.
With the current technology and the scammers ability to clone numbers or spoof numbers, it is almost impossible for any law enforcement agency to find these scumbags.
First off, you do have a tendency to get off topic with your rants about doctor's offices ETC. These callers are scammers, who use advanced technology to clone or spoof numbers, so they can not be tracked or traced currently. Secondly, the "No Call" only works if people actually take the time to report the calls. It isn't some magic tool that stops these types of calls.
