# has been calling for a while now . I finally answered to see what it was. They claim to be the IRS and say that I'm being investigated for tax fraud from 2008 - 2014. They claim I've been mailed 3 letters of notificaton via UPS. I have never received any letters from IRS or anyone regarding this. I have my taxes done by a legitimate tax accountant. They kept telling me that I need a good Criminal Attorney. I told them that I have an attorney if I need one. Then they said that's good because they will have the local sherrifs dept at my door in the next 45 minutes to serve me documents and arrest me. Then they abruptly told me good luck and hung up on me. I called my husband all upset and he assured me it was fraud and to google the phone #. The caller had a thick indian type accent that I could hardly understand. Then he passed me to his supervisor "Ms. Amy Brown" and I thought cool I'll be able to understand her with the nice American name. Wrong, she was just as foreign as he was. Good grief!!!!
Call hang up at 1044 am PST. Sounded like older man and foreign accent. Last calls from this area were for an environmental program that was scamming the EDF in New York. Maybe they changed their number. Time will tell, but obviously not anyone we know or want to hear from anyway.
