I'm receiving calls daily from this number claiming to be an officer with a warrant for tax fraud. I have contacted my tax agent and also my attorney . My tax agent says there's no claim against me.
Called every hour, left a voice message saying I was hiding something from the government and it was tax fraud to call back. When finally answered to tell them to stop calling, they never asked my name, or anything. Just starting saying charges i had against me and I owed x amount of money back to the irs. That if I didn't pay and go to court I would lose and have to pay much more money and will go to prison.
Called saying there was a case against me for tax fraud which is not true when I began to question them they just hang up on me. DO NO GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!
Somehow got my work number. Explained to me about some tax fraud that wasn't in my state. Said that they were forwarding my info to my current county. I even ran my name through CCAP, and found nothing. I contacted my attorney as well as my accountant, both said that nothing was filed against me. When I called back, they said that they couldn't hear me and just hung up. HUGE SCAM.
