Got the message saying i was hiding money from the IRS and needed to resolve it right away. Called them back and asked where they were calling from. The man said 'Department of Federal Crimes'...I said, 'so you're an agency of the federal government?' and he said 'Yes' (which I knew wasn't true because the federal government and IRS aren't really in the business of calling you to tell you when there is a warrant out for your arrest). I played along and told them they had the wrong person. When I asked them to confirm my identity with a SS#, he said he didn't have that info (funny, shouldn't the federal government have your SS# if they are taking time out of their busy schedule to inform you of your arrest warrant?). When I asked what my supposed crime was I never got an answer and the man on the phone became really aggressive telling me that I'm not fooling the federal government and I can't hide from them forever because they will find me. I told him that was fine because I'm not guilty of any federal crimes and he hung up, yelling that I'll be arrested any day now. I immediately thought someone had stolen my identity and then I decided to research the number and found this site. I do plan to report this and block this number
Careful with this call it's a scam IRS issue a notice that they don't call people to ask money over the phone and ask you to buy visa card to pay them.DO NOT ENTERTAIN THIS CALL.
Same thing here. I get calls daily from this # and (347) 394-1634. I think it's the same company. When I called and told them to remove me from the list, the guy told me to wait 15 minutes and the police would be coming for me. Ha ha ha.
It's a SCAM! Don't bother reaponding. They won't remove your phone # and they'll just keep calling. I blocked them from my phones.
