Love the voice to text email I received about the call:
"up-internal-revenue-service(?). We were trying to reach you in regards to an important issue since past months and months. We have received an affidavit concerning tax evasion on your the hotline division to reach us out at 703-879-7127. I repeat it's 703-879-7127. Don't disregard this message and do return the call. If for any reason you're visit to call us back. We would suggest you do have your retained attorney to do it for you. Delay in calling us back. Might end up being two when you get a message for you for that we would be forced to contact the Sheriff Office. I got this to the case against you. So hope you just to find this matter as quick as possible. Thanks."
Up internal revenue service! I wish. Called back just to make fun of the guy and only get a recording now.
I received the same call from this IRS scammer. Left a message about tax evasion & going to court but he didn't say who the message was for. Everyone in this household is on it with our taxes, so I called him back with a different phone. He was talking extremely slow as if he were looking something up, then called me by a different name. I cut him off in the middle of his stupid accusations & told him that's not my name. Then he searched again & called me by my first name. I told him he doesn't know what he's taking about because I'm using a different phone. So he searched again and mentioned my mom's nickname. That's not even the name she uses to file taxes! Stupid. So stupid.
