Same thing, although my phone call was from 213-337-2559 - they wouldn't give me time to discuss the offer with my spouse and said it was a "live" offer. They did have my IHG rewards number and point balance, so it seems like they are legitimately connected with them somehow. I didn't bite but did keep them on the phone for 20 minutes.
I know that as a matter of fact 703-886-xxxx is Virginia. Not to mention 703-886 is from where a BIG telecoms company wher I used to work from (hint it has the letter V and Z in the name). Why would they call me? Send me something in the mail and maybe, yes, MAYBE i'll reply.
I also have received mult calls. very loud like a stadium. could not understand who they were. tried to call back to see who was and it was a msg about some kind of survey. I added them to my reject list
received missed calls every day. called back from a different number and got hung up on. called again and said it was the hotel program asking to do a survey. No way jerks! SCAM!
