I've been called 3 times in last 2 day on my cell phone. Just static noise and then they hang up. Tried to call back and get voice mail with no identification.
After calling me multiple times, without leaving a message or just hearing background noise when I answer, I finally had a human being on the line. They said that I had won a $500 travel voucher when I signed up at our county fair. I don't recall doing this but I guess it's possible.
This is fraud. The telemarketer has purchased information from a computer hacker that has illegally extracted your information from your computer. (you have been hacked already). Now the telemarketer is trying to get an active creditcard number from you while trying to convince you of an awesome(better than imaginable deal), on land in Vegas. If you get this fake offer, you should be reporting it to the FCC or law enforcement.
