When you answer or call back, or try to, you just notified the robo-call computer that you have a working active phone number and if you call back it will tell the people that you are interested in their scam and you will get tons of calls. NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE FROM A CALLER YOU DO NOT KNOW. They use names of real companies, charities and now even call showing your own name and number on the caller i.d. and IF THEY WANT TO DAMAGE A POLITICAL FIGURE THEY PRETEND THEY ARE CALLING FROM THAT PERSON SO YOU WILL GET PISSED AND NOT VOTE FOR THEM. SLICK TRICK. If you want to give to a charity etc. YOU CALL THEM And if they don't leave a message you know it wasn't important. do not call does not apply to these people and you won't stop it because they change phone numbers.
This number called me and now I get to go on a cruise! I had to take a short survey, but then a travel agent called me to get all my credit info. and kablammo! It is 2 weeks later, and I was a little nervous, but I just got my tickets in the mail. So excited now, more of you should trust these phone people, sheesh.
