calling wanting credit card number so he can help us lower our interest rates. He hung up on us when we asked for more info and said we tried calling the number back but it was a disconnected number
Had a call from Jim Kopish today as well. I wanted to reduce my credit card rates. When I tried to question him about his company, he became curt and quickly hung up.
First thing that tipped me off was that my number is unlisted and he knew not only the number but my full name, as well. Claimed he got the number from my current credit card companies.
I told him to mail me info. He said, "We do everything by phone."
I responded, "Not with MY financial dealings, you don't."
guy named jim kopish called me from east valley financial said he could cut my interest rates in half with no out of pocket expense (fee is $795) wanted my credit card numbers. Told him I was not giving him that info and I asked him how he got my info and he said his company has called me several times before which I would remember if that was the case. He was adamant that I should trust him and give him my cc info if I would like to lower my payments. When I tried to get him to mail me info he just kept talking so I just hung up on him and then googled to find this info.
