I am ON the Do Not Call list... and for the last 6 months, have been getting spammed by telemarketers like this one. It started with someone calling and claiming my husband owed $400 on a bank account that had been CLOSED two months prior to the charges "Appearing"... I think the people still trying to collect money we DON'T owe sold our phone number to these scam artists.
But, does it.. CAN it.. block the new way they are calling? With no number and simply a UNKNOWN CALLER ID in first line? Already have anonymous caller rejection set and gets by that with no problem.
The past week, every single call has switched to UNKNOWN. Know it is them since all are 12:11, 12:09, 11:31, 12:47, 5:56, 12:22, 6:33, and 11:55 today, and they always hang up on machine (or, I should say the system does) at the same point in the message.
