Said he was calling from CMC-Union Business Office. This was on a Saturday; the business office is only open M-F. Next he said "For verification purposes, please state your address and birthdate." I said no way. He then wished me a "blest" day. Weird and creepy.
Using *67, I called this number. A recorded message said that it was the business office and that I should hold the line to talk with the next available agent. Yeah-sure--middle of Sunday afternoon.
Apparently it's another telemarketer.
If it were a legitimate call from Carolinas Health System, they would have contacted me via US mail--not via phone.
If this is really from the Carolinas Health Care System, they would have left a message. Especially since this number calls so frequently. (Uh...I contacted our local branch of the CMC system and was told that this was **not** the way the business office would have operated and that it must be another telemarketer. Duh.)
