I saw you on the other website also. Yesterday I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Go online and file one too. TEll everyone you know this is happening to. so maybe this way if they get a huge flux of email about the same company and the same problem maybe they can handle it!!!

It's me again.  I complained earlier about the same issue with my bill and was advised T-Mobile identified the problem and was going to adjust my bill.  I am still waiting for the adjustment and was told today it should hit my account around when my bill is due.  This is all I can offer, after numerous rude reps I got one who is also from my calling area.  She said the "text message service center number 704-345-3115" was still programmed in my phone so that every text I sent was routed through that number.  So not only was I being charged for going through that number but also for the texts that went through to the number i texted, thus double billed.  If you look at your bill, you may have texted back and forth to someone, twice to them, two incoming.  About two to three hours later you will see those two texts billed to you again as outgoing to that 704 number minutes apart.  I was even told by the last rep that this was an issue as far as the two companies merging that they were trying to work out.  I will put my name and account out there to people if they cannot get a rep to listen to them.  If we can get a lawyer on board, I will be glad to speak to them about what I was told after all the headache this company put me through and obviously others.  My account has not been adjusted yet but I have been assured it will.  I feel everyone's pain.

Look at your current usage for guidance.  I never saved text messages until this problem came up.  You can log on to T-Mobile and see your current usage for the month that has not been billed yet.  If your saving any out going messages you will be able to identify what I am talking about.  Until they update your accounts and numbers, you are still being double billed for all out going texts.  Since the service center number was updated in my phone I have not had a disputable out going message.  You can email me at [email protected] for more info to help.  I don't feel comfortable putting personal info on here.

Rachel, thank you for posting this information about the T-mobile text billing problems.  I just came across this site when i was trying to figure out what the 704-... number was!  My wife and I have been trying to figure this thing out for a week, and we had been "beating up" our daughter for going over the limits.  Finally it is clear that she is not the problem.  On the fourth call to T-mobile we final made some progress with a Rep.  She said that she would turnover the issue to a manager to resolve the billing issue within 3 days.  I am not holding my breath.  Please post your results when you get them.
