I too have eight listings of 1-704-345-3115 on my bill showing texts to this number and I have no idea whose number this is and I don't know anyone in this area code.
I JUST HAD 58 OF THESE COME UP ON MY BILL. I CALLED SUNCOM AND THEY ARE SAYING THAT IF YOU ARE TEXTING SOMEONE AND YOUR PHONE IS IN ROAM THAT THIS ROUTER NUMBER WILL SHOW UP ON YOUR BILL INSTEAD OF THE NUMBER YOU ARE ACTUALLY TEXTING.SIMPLY PUT THERE SAYING WE MADE THE CALLS,BUT THERE UNABLE TO READ THE NUMBER, SO THEY PUT THIS ROUTER NUMBER IN ITS PLACE AND BILL US FOR THE TEXT WE MADE.HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL!
LIS is right. It is a routing number that Suncom uses. When you're roaming, Suncom doesn't control the information, so they have to label the unknown number somehow. They give it this generic number so you can still be charged. If the person texting you is roaming, you get the same result.
THIS NUMBER KEEPS APPEARING ON BOTH OF THE LINES ON MY T MOBILE ACCOUNT, FORMERLY SUNCOM. WHAT IS GOING ON? I NEED AN ANSWER RIGHT AWAY. I AM TRIED OF THIS AND WANT AN ANSWER ASAP. I WILL NOT USE OFFENSIVE WORDS, HOWEVER I WANT AN ANSWER. THIS IS JUST CRAZY WHEN PEOPLE PAY SO MUCH FOR THEIR CELL PHONE SERVICE. PLEASE ADVISE SOON, OR I AM WRITING TO MY CONGRESSMAN FOR HELP!!!!!!!!
I just called Suncom/Tmoble to complain. This number is used when you are in a roaming zone. You did text someone but they could record the number you actually texted so they use this "routing number". It is legit - so don't go suing anyone.
