I just called the number 704-454-5524 because they call me 2-3x/day. A lady speaks to you in a recording saying that their phone number was hacked by someone internationally and they have been getting all kinds of calls complaining about it. She also apologized for any calls that we might be getting and said she had nothing to do with it. It has been reported by her, but she asked that we report this as well.
I do the IT work for the owners of this number. They are lovely people caught in a bad situation. Someone is maliciously using their caller ID to spam calls. Sadly this is a very common thing and there is nothing the phone carrier can do about the situation because anyone can change their caller ID to be whatever they want. Please accept our deepest apologies for this. We are doing everything we possibly can to resolve this issue.
