Obviously a scam. What makes it worse is I do belong to a card protection alert with my bank so I almost called the number until I read the post here.
I just checked my bank online and my email and I have no alerts on any of my cards

I also got a call from same number seconds ago, daughter did too same verizon accounts

Just got a text from this number in Statesville, NC "

Same message here in Cary. Not fun. Would love to get a hold of this guy and slam my phone down his throat. Then see how many calls he can make to my phone. I wouldn't care at that point, would I. Would any of you feel the same? Not that I'd really do any such thing, but I sure do feel the anger.
