Just called my cell, I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, said its from Charlotte, NC. I googled the number and it came up as a fax number associated with CPI Security. I don't even live in NC, also I have been receiving a ton of robo calls from various numbers in the past couple of weeks.
One of the rare times I answered, because I was expecting a call from a security company. Caller ID showed CPI Security. A recording said the FBI reports a break-in recently in my area, and this company would put a sign in my front yard at no cost, blah blah blah. I hung up. Similar to other calls about home security offers from around the country. There is a CPI Security headquartered in Charlotte, NC. Although 704-527-4158 is associated with Charlotte, NC, it does not match any number I found for CPI Security. CPI numbers on its website are all 800 numbers. Besides, why would a North Carolina company be calling a home in Maryland anyway?
Robo call. They left a message on my voice mail. Something about a security sign in my yard absolutely free. Gee, sorry I missed the call. Press 2 to talk to a rep, press 9 to be removed from their calling list. Yeah, right.
