Just called my cell, I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, said its from Charlotte, NC. I googled the number and it came up as a fax number associated with CPI Security. I don't even live in NC, also I have been receiving a ton of robo calls from various numbers in the past couple of weeks.
Someone impersonating CPI security. Wants to give me a free installation, But asks for a credit card number. HELLO; Free means free. These maggots want a credit card number to run up thousands of dollars in a blink of an eye. In the mean time, Our Senate is busy trying to get us to use the correct rest rooms. Don't re-elect anyone.
These frauds are out to make millions by collecting credit card numbers. The National Do Not Call List is selling them our phone numbers. They should be shut down, and Congress should be fired for their laziness. Seems that they are busy trying to direct people to the correct rest rooms, while these criminals are robbing the elderly and mis-informed public.
Selling what list? Go, right now, dial a #, any #. If you don't connect, dial another random #. Don't connect? Dial another random #. Did you connect this time? Yes? You didn't buy a list of #s to connect to that #.
If they can filter out the random #s that are not in service and they get a ringing phone one your # (even if you don't pick up), then you are a live # and will probably get another phone call in the future.
There's probably 1 system dialing random #s and another system that calls again in the future if the random # phone rings.
Pretty much like the others. I am on DO NOT CALL which is proving useless. CPI Security from North Carolina calling customers in Connecticut???? Yah right. Another one for the blocker.
