"Nicole" has called 5 times today leaving a message to call her at 847-909-1134 (no company name, no subject matter). If someone leaves no info they get no callback. Thanks to this site she never will get a callback!
We have been getting calls from IPA for months and have requested to be removed from their call list numerous times. Today "Lauren" called and "changed" the name of their company to try to get me to forward the call to the owner. We're a forklift company, and she identified her business as "IPA Forklifts". When I called her on it, she rambled and said that they are forklift specialists. I couldn't believe that she would do that, because it is clearly a violation or at the least, a misrepresentation.
They said that they had talked to the owner last week and the owner had requested that they call back next week... The owner would never even give out this number, so I knew it was not legitamate.
Someone calls from this number 2-3 times a day, everyday, wanting to speak to owner. They say that the owner called them. Not true! His office staff takes & makes all calls and you have to leave a message for owner and they return calls for him. I spoke to whomever today and ask them to take our name off their list. I'm sure they will call again. I told him that it was sorta like "you have to go thru Jesus to get to God", he had to go thru me to get to the owner. I will not answer any more calls from that number since I have caller ID.
Says her name is Lindsey Decenzo and she's calling about installs and asking for the Owner umpteen times but won't explain why she's calling. Said something about being from Steven Levenson's office and that the Owner should know what this is about. Called the number back and asked to be removed from their phone calls. Said they were a business development company. BEWARE!
2 calls today from this #. 2 different women asking for the business owner in regards to " a business meeting" but no call back # to leave. I will be so glad when this type of call is deemed illegal!
