I just received a call from this number also and it was also about possibly being charged with fraud charges. I did call my local Sherriff's office and they stated sounded like a scam and to not answer their call anymore. The name left to call back is Skylar Nicholas.
I just spoke to Skylar Nickels (I had her spell it for me), after having received many voice mails from these folks. She reported that she worked for Global Mediation. She said she was not going to tell me where they are located. They are using the name of my family member and referring to them as a "defendent" and I'm to give up any information I have on this individual. When I ask about the nature of the "case," they say they can't divulge that information. I told them that I am reporting them for harrassment under the Fair Credit Collection Act, and they got really nasty, really quickly.
I ACTUALLY DELT WITH THESE PPL AND IM GLAD I DID BECAUSE A WEEK LATER I WAS SUMMONS TO COURT BUT BECAUSE I PAID THEM I DIDNT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING IN COURT!!!
If that is true, you should be able to give us the information at the top of the summons, since it is now "public information".
Give us the court name and location, the name of the judge, the plaintiff's attorney's name and Bar number, and the name of the company or person that is suing you, the date you were supposed to appear, and possibly a docket number.
Can you do that, to prove your statement, or did I ask for too much information?
Well, then, just give us the name and address of the court, and the plaintiff's name. You do not have to tell us your name. That should not be difficult at all. Otherwise, we will have strong evidence you were NOT served, and are fibbing to us, and are probably a shill for the phone number under discussion.
I betcha you can't give us the requested information. You didn't even give the physical and web address of the company that uses this phone number, so we could check their validity.
Do not bother to return and argue these points, unless you can provide the data I requested.

So you are saying that you paid them and they sued you anyhow? Why would they do that since they would have had to pay their lawyer his fee for going to court? As well as court fees. They would have been out all that money. So I anxiously await your reply to Slim's and my questions. Remember, failure to answer meant that you are not telling the truth.
