Rang twice and hung up. I wouldn't have answered, I remember the suffix as a scam number. It seems that in honor of the New Year, some of these guys have modified their number, but still keep the suffix, or prefix... I did return the call, but I did it from my unlisted burner phone that doesn't even have GPS, so I was anonymous. Just to see who they were so I could say something here for your benefit.
This is reprehensible: they answered that they are a drug treatment referral service, and immediately ask if you're trying to get into a drug treatment program. These companies, the same ones advertising on TV, like to cherry pick customers who are rich or have great private insurance, leaving behind the rest to get dumped either on local county services, or no service at all, or they have long waiting lists, and a lot of new journalistic investigation says many of them send patients to suboptimal (at best) places that are nightmares. It's big business now, drug trestment.
These guys are predators. Don't answer the phone, and if you do accidentally answer, please, don't be misled. If you listen to their ads snd read the fine print at the bottom of themTV screen and the carefully chosen language in their script, you'll see their script indicates they only want to work with the rich or those with grest private insurance, and the places they refer you to (even the referral company profits from your suffering, they're paid by the private clinics) are crappy.
I was a drug abuse counselor decades ago, and these vultures offend me greatly! And don't forget, they called me, not the other way around... good treatment programs don't need to cold-call total strangers, unsolicited, in hopes of picking up a few extra bucks just like any other scam salesman... without real compassion or concern for the suffering patient. Doctors who do that have a conflict of interest, without the patients' best interests at heart. Just reprehensible!

By the way, I called them to tell them they could find my opinion of them at this website, and they hung up on me! ::: laughing cynically ::: they couldn't deny anything I said above.
They've called FOUR times today. I finally called them from my other phone and they were incredibly rude, interrupting constantly and hanging up each time I called. They said they would block my number, but when I tried to tell them the number they were reading on CID wasn't the number they were dialing to harass me, they were too busy being deliberately rude to hear me. They must be under pressure to make a certain volume of victims... err, I mean calls... per hour. I told them I know that reporting them to DNC wouldn't accomplish anything because the government doesn't care, especially now, but again, she didn't hear me, and said "you do what you gotta do." And now, they have blocked ME from calling THEM back. A bunch of rude, lousy vultures. I have absolutely no sympathy for those girls. Bad karma. They didn't really upset me, because I've been to the rodeo before, but I called to satisdy my curiousity. Just don't answer their CID when they call. I won't. And I don't how or why my first entry was put here twice, I didn't do it, but apologies anyway.
I get this call daily, usually it's one the ones that seem to be calling just to hear my sexy (after 20 some years of smoking ) raspie voice say what's up or how do u do or whatever I make up that day, depends on how froggy I'm feeling lol , I only pick up because if someone doesn't they will call a number of times untill some picks up, now on the first call we just do the push answer with immediate hang up, unless I'm feeling a bit like messing with someone, we joke around it's hell calling only cuz the number , but since the lady above said it's a drug treatment place begging for clients, I guess I'm not far off lol.. it's just a bit annoying
