The message is from Carolinas Healthcare System trying to collect on an unpaid bill. They get the number wrong a lot, so it might not even be your bill they are tyring to collect!
I Constantly receive calls on my cell from this place and I live NO WHERE Near North Carolonia nor have ever used their healthcare system. They call asking for another persons name - I have patiently told them several times they have the wrong number, last time I was not too friendly because they woke me up! Now I don't even answer!!!! I don't get the intelligence level there --- my area code is nowhere near NC!!!!
Expect to be on the phone waiting forever. they won't leave a message that is a real person or any info.
I guess this is there way of saying they called to fit the legal requirement. What a joke.
After calling multiple times and waiting forever I finally got an actual person. She was nice and proceeded to say it was a mistake for calling and that the bill was paid.
I think they need a better system of calling and updating their system. My guess is if they had an actual human call they would update their system faster to not waste employee time. Instead they are wasting patients time returning unneeded recorded phone calls.
You guys are so helpful I got call drom this number. She pronounce my name wrong so I hung up on her abd checked this website. . Carolina Healthcare sounds could be possible. . I will call back later.
It is quite true that the number *displayed* is allied with the Carolinas Medical Centers, it is most likely a spoofed number from some telemarketer or spammer, etc., who is trying to get your personal information. I just spoke with a lady at the Charlotte branch of the system. She said that the business office would not be calling people at 10:00 PM on weekends. Just because a legitimate number is displayed is no guarantee that this really is the calling party. For example: from time to time, my own name and number are shown as if I am calling myself! I'm sorry to tell you folks that I can't make calls to myself while I'm using my own phone! Beware of giving out information over the phone **unless** you yourself generated the call and you know for certain that you have reached the party you were calling.
