Got a call a few minutes ago. Pressed 9, connected to a guy. Claimed to be in Massachusetts, although the number is North Carolina. Debt relief. He claims that they get your number when you sign up for, or make a payment to your, credit card. He also claimed that he did not know what the Do Not Call registry was, but said that he'd look into it.
they called my cell also ...didn't leave a message... then 3 other times this week all with different numbers;
718-549-8509 from New York and 512-869-7723 from Georgetown, Tx--- It's typically robot calls from over seas. FCC is aware of it. The "Do not call registry" is aware of it. The phone companies are aware of it... Apparently there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that can be done about this because the phone companies make money off the calls in some way. -Sooooo, basically we're f'kd!!!!!
They just called me and I answered by an accident, it was a recording saying that i can lower my credit card amount. ..I then hung up. .please stop then from calling and I blocked my number. ..
