I just received a call from this number at 5:52 p.m.. Supposedly the call was from GTE Security. However, my home phone number is on the Do Not Call list. I just reported the caller to the Do Not Call list between 6 and 6:30 p.m., this evening.
Received the recorded message from Caller ID "Customer Care," same as these other reports. I pressed "1" to be connected to the rep to find out which company was defying the DNC registry. I verified the company as GE (General Electric) Home Security. Reported via the DNC complaint form.
Received a call from this number at 5:00pm EST. ID "Customer Care". Answered the call to see who and what they wanted. There was nothing on the phone and a disconnect. Must be a telemarketer as noted above. Next time, I will add them to the blocked calls.
